Third Outing Class : Posco, Pohang

POSCO (Pohang Iron and Steel Company), founded in 1968, is the world's second largest steel maker by market value and Asia's most profitable steelmaker. It is located in Pohang, South Korea (1.5 hours from Daegu). www.posco.co.kr

We went there just two days after my birthday on 2007 :D. I was really excited to go there since it is one of the famous Korean company. We went to the POSCO museum and the steel factory. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take pictures inside the factory. But it was really amazing, the way the steel are made. I can't believe how many degrees celcius it was to make the steel plates. >.< It was so hot inside the factory!

After POSCO, the teacher brought us to a small beach near POSCO. Really good weather and I loved the cloud at that time.
