Nurimaru APEC House, Busan

Last week (2010.03.27), I went to Busan again for the **th times (I don't know exactly how many times I've gone to Busan) hehe. I departed from Dongdaegu station with 1.30 pm mugunghwa train together with Randy and Zahra, my Indonesian friends and arrived in Busan station at 3.06 pm. There, we met other friends, mas Boy, mas Dyo, mba Vita, mba Idham, mba Eka, and mba Yuli. Mas Dyo, mba Yuli, mba Idham, and mba Eka are new in Korea so we decided to bring them to Nurimaru APEC House before attending the Indonesian Students Association gathering in Pukyeong National University.
Before going there, we went to Lotteria first because some of us hadn't eaten our lunch. We took subway to the place, hmm maybe around 45 minutes. Quite far from the station. Arriving at Dongbaek station, which is the nearest subway station from APEC House, we walked around 20 minutes until we could see the APEC House. However, it didn't make us feel tired because the complex was just a perfect place to have a walk. Love it! I hope someday I can bring my lovely here. :) Since the building is only open until 5 pm, unfortunately we couldn't  enter the building. We were just late about 20 minutes. :(

Nurimaru APEC house is located in Dongbaek island, near Haeundae Beach in Busan. It is evaluated as the most beautiful place among the meeting places during the APEC Leaders' Meeting. It is the place where the 2nd APEC Leaders' meeting, leaders' luncheon, and the official photograph took place during APEC 2005 in Korea. The name "Nurimaru" is the combination of two purely Korean words "nuri" meaning the world and "maru" meaning summit.

As usual, taking picture is a thing that we couldn't forget. Haha. I think we spent almost 2 hours there, walking and taking picture until finally we reached Haeundae Beach. Hmm, That was my second time going to Haeundae Beach. Korean say that it is the most beautiful beach in Busan. (sebenernya masi kalah jauh sama pantai anyer, wkwk. ntah, gw ga dapet feel beachnya aja di sini. :D uh jadi pingin pergi ke pantai klo gw pulang nanti ke Indonesia. I want to visit my aunt and my cousins in Bali...)

Twilight had come, it is time for us to go to Pukyong National University. We took taxi and spent almost 8,000 KRW, means that it is far from Haeundae Beach to the University. We decided to have dinner first before going to PKNU. We chose a Japanese Onigiri small eating place. Huaaa Onigiri!! I hate why I've never found an eating place like this in Daegu, or maybe I don't know where? I like the Onigiri because it's big! I tried yaki udon also that was soooo spicy.. @.@ I didn't know that. However, i love them. :)

Finally we arrived in the class room where the gathering was held. I met so many Indonesian friends there, old faces and new faces. :D I mean, a lot of Indonesian students who are just starting their life in Korea. I hope they can survive and enjoy their study time here. :) Don't worry, Korea is small, you can have some tour here if you got stressed from your study. Haha. :P

It was a really tiring day so I preferred to sleep first while the others went to Gwangalli Beach. (Have been there so many times xD)
